Stage 1 - Program Supervisor\n

Location: Los Angeles CA 90056 - 100% Onsite\n

What We're Looking For:\n

We are seeking a Program Supervisor who will work with other members of the Stage 1 Leadership Team to develop quality control procedures to assure high quality services are delivered to DPSS District and GAIN Regional Offices, parents, providers and the general public. The position will directly supervise Stage One staff to ensure high quality; full services are available for CalWORKs clients. The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities:\n\nSupervise the provision of Stage 1 Case Management Child Care Services.\nImplement performance standards and contract requirements.\nParticipate in the overall planning and evaluation of program operations and client services.\nIn conjunction with other members of the Stage 1 Leadership Team, develop quality control procedures to assure high quality services are delivered to DPSS District and GAIN Regional Offices, parents, providers and the general public.\nDirectly supervise Program Specialists and Program Assistants, including performance evaluations, task-related support activities and disciplinary action.\nWork closely with designated representatives from other departments at Crystal Stairs to ensure high quality; full services are available for CalWORKs clients.\nIdentify and facilitate training and staff development activities for assigned staff.\nProvide technical assistance to staff.\nPerform other tasks as assigned.\n\n

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:\n\nCollege degree or equivalent required; a graduate degree preferred. Years of relevant, verifiable work experience may be substituted for college level education.\nMinimum 2 years supervisory experience required. Experience managing government contracts preferred.\nMust have knowledge and understanding and\/or experience working with CalWORKs and CCAP child care subsidy programs. Knowledge of funding terms and conditions of State and County programs helpful, but not required.\nMust be results-driven with the proven ability to set and meet unit goals.\nRequires ability to manage multiple complex projects and to acquire necessary resources to do so while exercising good independent judgment toward meeting agency and division objectives.\nRequires excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with diverse groups and individuals.\nStrong conceptual, analytic and judgment skills over tactical and strategic issues.\nMust be able to work well under pressure and multi-task priorities to meet tight deadlines.\nAbility to work flexible days and times to meet department deadlines as required.\nWork under minimal supervision, make independent plans and organizes and prioritizes work following established procedures and guidelines. Determines priorities based on ongoing projects.\n\n
