**Duration: 12 months contract** **Job Description:** + Demonstrate proficiency in welding and fabrication of metal components and systems + Demonstrate proficiency in welding and fabrication of metal components and systems + Demonstrate an understanding of metal preparation and proper welding techniques. + Develop and perform quality dimensional and visual inspection of precision components by using various metrology tools and devices to ensure compliance with engineering specifications. + Understanding of geometric relationships and the impact to those relationships when altering attributes. + Collaborate with the designers and workforce to improve the components quality and the efficiencies of fabrication. + Support the department’s safety initiatives, apply knowledge of industrial safety standards, and identify health hClientards associated with metal fabrication in an industrial setting. + Analyze and solve process quality issues using scientific principles and methodology. + Communicate in a professional and supportive manner while working with all levels of the organization. **Experience:** + 1-3 years’ experience + SolidWorks/ CAD proficiency. + Understanding of GD&T applications and principals + Thorough, disciplined. + Able to interpret technical documentation (e.g. Specifications, design prints, etc.) + Effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills. + Proficient with MS Office i.e. Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Project. **Education:** + A BS in Engineering or equivalent experience **Skills:** + SolidWorks/CAD, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint **About US Tech Solutions:** US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
