Staff Software Engineer - Networking (REMOTE)
Position DescriptionAs our Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our modernization strategy of our Data Center in Hybrid Cloud architecture, responsible for network design, automation and operations of high-quality security solutions utilizing next-gen distributed Firewall, software Load balancers and appliances building a cohesive, robust system. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in security software stack and solutions including SDN technologies and their applications in business settings and is able to navigate complexities to deliver high quality features and solutions in a timely manner.

QualificationsStrong understanding of Security technologies, solutions and deep network system design knowledge and experience.Familiarity with Software-Defined network architectures and solutions with network operating systems such as open source SONiC, traditional network protocols such as BGP, HW abstraction layer such as Open Compute SAI.Familiarity with virtualization technologies and their interaction with underlying storage infrastructures.Demonstrated conflict management, decision making and negotiation skillsProven ability to concentrate and demonstrate a capacity for learning technical concepts and adapting to new technologies quicklyStrong understanding of Software-defined network infrastructure for Hybrid Cloud, including public and private cloud environments. Experience with SDN Controllers such as ONOS SD-FabricExperience in Linux operating systems and programming languages such as C/C#, Java, Python, GoLangExcellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with various teams within the organization, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and external partners.Desired Experience8+ years of experience with systems architecture and design4+ years of experience in open-source network solutions4+ years of experience working with hyper scale cloud provider solutions

Annual Salary

$115,000.00 - $230,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
