**Job Description Summary**
As a Staff Software Engineer/Full Stack Developer within PCS Service Technology Team, you will be responsible for owning the design and implementation of features/functionality of next generation remote service technology platform, working closely with scrum team for timely delivery with quality. You will work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across business. You will also lead design discussions.

**Job Description**
In this role, you will:
• Identify the scope of the work, provide initial estimates and justify the estimate with facts
• Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through white boarding
• Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automation
• Seek and provide feedback on design and development
• Understand whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or module
• Help in designing interfaces and information exchange between modules
• Be an expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
• Be an expert in assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices
• Articulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing.
• Be fluent in core data structures as well as algorithms and can implement them in Java and Python
• Work with Product Manager (PM/TPMs) and architects to understand product requirements & vision
**Required Qualifications**
• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications as a full stack developer.
• Experience in Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting web applications with REST based microservices using Java and Python
• Hands-on experience working with ReactJS, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and version control tools like GitHub/Gitlab
• Experience in Developing and maintaining APIs that are scalable, secure, and highly available
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies such as Docker
• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitOps, etc.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
**Desired Characteristics**
• Experienced in Infrastructure and PaaS integration using Containerization technologies Kubernetes / Docker, Grafana/Kibana, Prometheus
• HELM Charts, YAML, Python, DevOps Pipeline Integration
• Experienced in Web UI Technologies - HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, XML, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS protocols and Responsive Web Design
• AWS Developer Certification (Associate)
• Clear Thinker & Problem Solver - Proactively identifies & clears roadblocks for the team
• Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task.
