POSITION TITLE: Staff Scientist- part time

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

The duties and responsibilities of the part-time Scientist are to provide technical support to other lab members and perform experiments on the isolation and characterization of antibodies in the hepatitis B, hepatitis C and other research projects in the lab. The scientist will attend weekly laboratory meeting, and other in-person and virtual meetings, and engage in scientific discussions with the PI and lab members.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ph.D. in an appropriate scientific discipline required.  Minimum of 2 years postdoctoral experience. 

​PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:   

This position works in a laboratory environment.  Details of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:    This is a part time (4 hours per week) and temporary position anticipated for a year. This position is not eligible for benefits.

 LOCATION: La Jolla, California 

COMPENSATION: The salary for this position is $38.46 per hour.
