About the Department
Job Summary
Responsibilities
Designs, develops, and tests experimental protocols for research (including empirical protocols, computational, statistical methods, etc.).
Collaborates with other researchers as appropriate.
Preparing and writing grant applications and reports, and co-authoring scientific research manuscripts.
May supervise other research staff and students.
Serves as a resource for collecting data and performing analysis. Facilitates and promotes a research project by providing scientific or intellectual information.
Develops laboratory protocols and training on new techniques. Manage, analyze and make recommendations on complex data sets for research.
Performs other related work as needed.

Experience:
Experience in generating, characterizing, and analyzing murine and cellular models.
Experience in developing and implementing empirical genomic protocols.
Experience with the analysis of population genetic data sets.
Experience with assisting in the training, a strong publication record, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in research.
Supervisory experience.

Knowledge of contemporary patient-derived cellular models.
Knowledge of bioinformatics methods and statistical tools for analyzing genomic data.
