Staff Sales Operations Analyst - North America

Cadence is seeking a motivated, detail oriented, and creative individual to join our Sales Operations team as a Staff Sales Operations Analyst. The role will report into the Director of Sales Operations of North America and work closely to support a variety of sales related programs and initiatives across North America.
The Staff Sales Operations Analyst will work cross-functionally with several organizations at Cadence (including sales, marketing, operations, finance, and support) with the primary objective of enabling sales leadership to make effective, analytically driven, and strategic operating decisions.
The role will be primarily focused on improving efficiency through automation and process alignment, provide general database and program support, and evaluate various sales performance indicators. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and entrepreneurship, interested in learning about best practices involving sales and marketing, intellectually curious, a fast learner, and able to adapt quickly while keeping focused on high impact projects.
Position Responsibilities:
+ Business forecast rollup, opportunity accuracy management and reporting based on salesforce.com platform.
+ Work closely with cross-functional groups (in particular Sales Finance, HR and IT) in resolving commission/bonus issues.
+ Coordinate and plan periodic regional management meetings. Also participate in national sales meeting preparation/execution.
+ Prepare materials used at business review meetings with Sales and Finance on a monthly and quarterly basis.
+ Manage interface between the field and internal systems (GSS, SFDC, Anaplan, Tableau, etc).
+ Actively identify areas to improve existing sales and operational processes as the organization evolves.
+ Audit and maintain processes to ensure the accuracy of the data quality within the Salesforce.com database.
+ Build, run, and analyze reports and dashboards for users and managers & in doing so provide insight into the business.
+ Respond to ad hoc requests flowing into the sales operations group from various teams, regarding reports, processes, requests for assistance, and or general support.
Position Requirement / Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree required with an emphasis in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Business Admin, or Information Science preferred.
+ Previous sales operations, business analyst and/or finance experience.
+ Knowledge of EDA and semiconductor industry preferred.
+ Microsoft Excel experience; particularly structuring, analyzing, and reporting on large data sets, using pivot tables, etc.
+ Ability to take initiative, work flexibly, and adhere to priorities with minimal direct supervision.
+ Strong customer service focus, written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail and accuracy.
The annual salary range for California is $100,800 to $187,200. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
