Responsible for mentoring Therapists, Assistants, Technicians, and Students. Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs in hospital settings to help rehabilitate those impaired because of illness, injury or psychological or developmental problems. Collaborates with other healthcare team members and physicians in a multi-disciplinary fashion to deliver the highest quality of care. Participates in CQI activities. Promote department and hospital. **Other information:** **Qualifications** **EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS** + Bachelor’s or Master’s or Doctorate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy. **PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT** + None. **LICENSURE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION** + Current NC Board of Occupational Therapy license **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS** + Analytical abilities to delegate personnel, problem solve with positive solutions. Good interpersonal and communication skills required to facilitate interactions with stated customers and staff members. **WORK ENVIRONMENT** + Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, temperature changes and occasional noxious odors.
