Position: Staff Engineer
Location: Columbus, Ohio
We are looking for a Staff Engineer who is looking to be a part of our Bridge Design Group. We are experiencing continued growth and offer the opportunity to work on large and diverse projects. In this role you will work as part of a team and contribute to the design of bridges in Ohio and Indiana. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with strong technical skills.
Responsibilities Conceptual, preliminary and detailed design of new bridges using pre-stressed concrete, reinforced concrete, structural steel, and timber componentsDevelopment of project cost estimatesPlan developmentQC/QA Development and mentoring of less experienced staff Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering0-2 years of experienceEffective verbal and written communication skills are essential for client interaction and career advancementAbility to handle pressure and work under tight deadlinesExperience with Microstation is preferred
