Job Description
This position manages routine to moderately complex projects by providing all technical expertise required to meet and exceed client expectations. This individual will be expected to write basic reports giving professional opinions and recommendations applying standard engineering practices and techniques under the direction of a Professional Engineer.
ResponsibilitiesManage Geotechnical and materials testingObserve and report construction progress to Project EngineerWork with drill techs on various civil and commercial projectsPrepare proposals for civil engineering projectsDevelop solutions, make recommendations, and prepare engineering reports for reviewEssential Skills0-3 years of experience in project engineeringEIT certificationLicensed EngineerCivil Engineering Experience in Construction Materials Testing (CMT)Geotechnical engineeringTransportation engineeringAdditional Skills & QualificationsPossess or willing to obtain FE certificationBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldInternship experience preferredProficient in Word & ExcelValid driver's licensePrior engineering consulting experience is a plusProficiency in field testing and report writing experienceWork Environment
The work environment will be different day to day but candidates should expect their activity to be divided in the following ways:
