Role and Responsibilities

(Job Description) Role and Responsibilities

Perform semiconductor engineering research, design, development, and testing for firm products and

devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry. Develop

Scalable System Verilog/UVM testbenches for unit level and/or Cluster level verification. Review

Architecture and Micro-Architecture specifications. Closely work with Architects and RTL designers.

Define, maintain and execute unit level and/or Cluster level verification test plans. Generate and run Test

cases on logic simulation models. Code Functional coverage models and System Verilog assertions. Drive

Functional Coverage and Code coverage to closure. Integrate C++ reference model into Scoreboards via

System Verilog DPI. Debug functional errors in RTL model using simulation and debug tools. Support debug

of unit RTL/Checkers at higher levels of integration such as Cluster/Top. Maintain efficient and clean

regression status via Test/Coverage Grading, Compute Farm and Disk utilization, etc.

In connection with the above apply theoretical knowledge, employment experience and/or skills

including:

                                 

1. Scripting languages for flow automation;

2. Test plan and test-bench development; and

3. Test development and test coverage assessment.

Minimum

Requirements:   Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics,    Computer Engineering, or closely related field.

SPECIAL

REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of a graduate level course, research project, or internship involving the following:

1. Scripting languages for flow automation;

2. Test plan and test-bench development; and

3. Test development and test coverage assessment.

Employer will accept skills gained in pursuit of university-level degree via coursework, projects, or internships. Skills may be gained concurrently

Total Rewards

At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $191,915.00 and $223,735.00. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.

Additionally, this role might be eligible to participate in long term incentive plan and relocation.
