Develop physical design/integration flows for high performance and low-power GPU development. Interact with internal engineering teams of logic designers, STA engineers and custom block engineers. Produce an RTL/netlist to GDS flow and deliver high quality final design database. Engage with other architects within the IP and at the SoC level to drive the architectural definition. Partner with the physical design team to resolve implementation level details. Work closely with design verification to test plan and otherwise ensure proper functionality. Deliver quality micro-architectural level documentation. Produce quality RTL on schedule meeting PPA goals and have hands-on responsibility from netlist to GDS delivery. Apply knowledge of GPU design/integration flow with extensive experience taping out devices at GDS level. Perform CPU/GPU/ASIC physical design experience. Work with clock tree and/or clock mesh design with OCV methodology; full chip floor planning and area optimization; power planning, signal integrity checks and timing sign-off; and Perl, TCL, Shell, and other script languages.

Minimum

Requirements:  Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics 

Engineering, Computer Engineering or closely related field plus four (4) years of    experience in a related

occupation in each of the following: designing GPU or multimedia application processor domain;

Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL; writing assertions/checkers in Verilog/System Verilog/VHDL; RTL design;

synthesis and timing analysis; synopsis VCS or equivalent verification tool; post silicon bring-up; code

coverage analysis/closure; computer architecture; and pixel centric pipeline in   GPU or image processing

IP.

Total Rewards

At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $214,207.00 and $257,336. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.

Additionally, this role might be eligible to participate in long term incentive plan and relocation.
