What you will be doing
Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment developing multi-desktop OS client software, with an emphasis on our next-gen Windows client. Partnering with engineering and product management teams to architect and build a highly available, performant, desktop solution. Writing highly scalable, production ready code Improving performance and scalability Performing root cause analysis of production errors and resolving technical issues Developing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance Interfacing with QE and ensuring the scope of QE testing meets requirementsRequired skills and experience
8+ years experience developing and troubleshooting Windows networking software A solid understanding of networking concepts - TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, IPSec, VPN Experience with Windows kernel development and Windows Filtering platform Strong C++ programming skills and fluency with algorithms, data structures (STL), complexity analysis, and software design Excellent system-level design skills Experience with Windows installation technologies Good understanding of different linux distributions (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) Experience with Go is desirable but not required Experience with HTTP based APIs / REST is desirable but not required Experience working in an “Automation only” environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work within a geo-distributed, cross-functional team A demonstrated ability to own and deliver projects independently Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work well in a diverse, team-focused environment with developers, Product Managers, etc.Education
