Staff Electrical Engineer
Job Information

The Staff Electrical Engineer is responsible for high-level strategic technical leadership and direction of a group engaged in the maintenance and development of all analog and digital electrical systems associated with the support, manufacturing, and operation of the fuel cell powerplants and electrolyzers. Leads the development of electrical architecture, participation in and analysis of trade studies, and development and delivery of electrical design and systems integration activity under HyAxiom’s proprietary technologies. May individually contribute, lead, or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaboration with equipment designers and hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems software. Responsible for entire projects with significant scope and responsibility. Incumbents in this job have people management responsibilities as may be assigned.

Requires deep and broad technical understanding of overall discipline, and electrical support and development requirements in a manufacturing environment.

Strong overall business acumen to assure alignment of electrical-based improvement pursuit and achievement is supportive of business objectives.

Manages/applies root cause techniques to assure optimal problem resolution.

Takes reasonable risks based on rational analysis.

Sets challenging, achievable goals for self and group.

Drives productive change by using new or unique solutions to achieve discipline-related business targets.

Identifies, implements, and shares new electrical concepts and practices.

Job Requirement

Knowledge:

Robust, advanced technical software data control, process and systems expertise.

Strong strategic perspective and tactical delivery software skills

 

Experience:

Clear and compelling oral and written communications

Ability and experience understanding and executing to meet customer requirements

Ability and experience working with a diverse group of technical and business-focused individuals and groups, occasionally on a global basis.

Education

BA/BS degree with 6-10+ years of experience

MA/MS degree with 4-7+ years of experience

PhD degree with 2-4+ years of experience

Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline. Advanced degree preferred
