Through this community of healers, scientists, and scholars, Rutgers is equipped as never before to transform lives. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Staff Assistant for the Office of the Dean at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Provide administrative/management support of project plans for the integration of RWJMS and NJMS. Coordinates the development of new or substantial modification of existing data processing and their supporting methods and procedures. Works with co-leadership and membership for the key subcommittees from RWJMS and NJMS faculty, students, and staff to organize the work of integration around the topics of governance and administration, academic environment, faculty, curriculum, and medical students. Involves extensive preparatory work for single accreditation process. Also working in concert with sub-committees on curriculum, admissions, strategic planning.

Among the key duties of this position are the following: Works with Integration leaders and Project Manager to ensure project objectives are communicated across integration teams and successfully achieved. Maintains calendar for project tasks including Task Forces and Integration Exec. Team meetings. Schedules zoom meetings and communicates critical task, as needed. Assist with maintaining and tracking financial records to ensure expenditures are in accordance with allocated funds. Drafts correspondence and distribution as requested. Maintains TEAMS folders and contact lists. Process requisitions and purchase orders/payments. Prepares project plans and schedules with specific timelines for major/subordinate events, including requirements, tasks, work assignments, resources, and the inclusion of project milestones.
