Job Description:

Prepare monthly complex Deferred Revenue calculations, schedules and entries for all TransPerfect companiesPrepare monthly complex Sales Commission and Client services Commissions files with a high volume of manual adjustments and calculationsAssist with monthly Consolidated A/R Aging for all TransPerfect companiesComplete high volume of bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations involving foreign currency transactionsHandle all month-end closing duties including journal entry preparation, recording monthly activities and payroll entriesMaintain monthly detailed reconciliations with notes, schedules and account analysis, including payroll, intercompany accounts, fixed assets, and all balance sheet accountsPrepare monthly financial statements and monthly reporting package in a multi-company environmentWork closely and communicate with outside accountants for domestic and international offices and assist with auditsPerform other job duties and special projects as assigned and provide assistance to the staff accountants

Job Requirements:

4-year college degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance, and 5-7 years of experience in a fast-paced, high volume environmentAdvanced knowledge of accounting functions, specifically bank reconciliation and intercompany reconciliation, and proficient in Excel.Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and follow-through in completion of projects.Strong time-management skills and ability to adhere to month-end close timelines.Good communication with the ability to interact positively with others inside and outside the organizationKnowledge of Great Plains Accounting Software is helpful as is previous experience in a Customer Service organization.
