**Your Future Role**
The Staff Accountant has ownership of month end close, including journals, reconciliations, reporting, as well as identifying issues and proposing solutions, standardizing processes, and procedures with an efficiency demeanor. Strong analysis and interpersonal skills will make you a valued member of this team, supporting a growing business. This role will report directly to the Regional Head of Accounting and can be remote.
+ Support the HoA of Innomotics Americas with the application and implementation of approved accounting policies in line with respective legal/regulatory requirements (i.e. IFRS) and Innomotics Financial Reporting Guideline (i.e. FRGs).
+ Support the HoA Innomotics Americas with compliance with accounting, tax, treasury and other statutory regulations.
+ Prepare, coordinate, and assist in annual statutory and group financial statements and footnote disclosures for its major entities.
+ Review and approve financial statement impacting postings (manual journal entries) and balance sheet account reconciliations.
+ Perform various analytical procedures to identify and resolve possible risks to the financial statements.
+ Perform monthly/quarterly/yearly closing activities and prepare general ledger activities (i.e. payroll, accrual, intercompany clearing/reconciliation, tax, etc.)
+ Continuously strive for process efficiency while maintaining or increasing quality through automation and continuous process improvements. Participate, coordinate or lead integration projects.
+ Assist in assessing and implementing reporting system changes as required due to global or local changes in regulations or process improvements.
+ Support effective internal controls and provide support to internal and external auditors.
+ Collaborate/communicate effectively with internal (e.g., GBS, Headquarter, Tax, Segments, Treasury, Procurement, etc.) and external partners (e.g., external auditors).
+ Conduct research and analysis on accounting treatment (i.e. revenue recognition, leases, etc.) to offer insight on financial statements.
+ Complete ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis, as well as special projects.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Your Profile**
+ BS/BA in finance / accounting or related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ 5+ years of experience in a complex corporate accounting environment with a strong understanding and use of IFRS or local GAAP accounting principles.
+ Previous experience in addressing and resolving non-routine and complex technical issues to timely and satisfactory conclusions, including working with management.
+ Ability to scope, assess, and implement new technologies to automate or digitalize legacy processes.
+ Prior track record in change management and continuous process improvements.
+ Proficiency in large ERP systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, etc.) and MS365 applications.
+ Strong appreciation for the importance of ensuring accuracy in all levels of financial reporting.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to change, communicate expectations, adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Results-driven and detail-oriented with a high degree of attention to detail.
+ Passion for continued self-development through continuous learning and training efforts
+ Self-driven, achieve goals, and work independently as well as collaborate in teams or functional groups.
+ This position may need <5% travel; work location and setup are flexible.
+ Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish, or English and Portuguese).
+ CPA or CPA designation is preferred.

+ Successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
+ Ability to effectively work in a flexible and sometimes remote/virtual or hybrid environment.
+ Team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
+ Strong and demonstrated analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
+ Detail oriented, but able to synthesize complex topics for consumption by both executive management and colleagues.
+ A solutions-oriented mindset, with a willingness to pivot quickly in a fast-paced setting.
+ Strong communication skills, able to translate “accounting speak” for non-finance partners.
+ Taking responsibility for achieving holistic outcomes, prioritize key objectives, and adapt quickly when situations require a different approach. Following through even against the toughest challenges.
The pay range for this position is $63,700 - $109,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
