Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the plastics manufacturing industry at our location in Long Beach, California. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and processing financial information, ensuring the accuracy of records, and providing support for various accounting functions. Responsibilities: • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) • Assist with the preparation of journal entries and general ledger maintenance • Contribute to month-end close processes • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial integrity • Handle payroll entries accurately and timely • Utilize software tools such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks • Monitor and maintain customer accounts, taking appropriate actions as needed • Resolve customer inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner • Work with various departments to ensure consistent and accurate financial information. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of accounting. • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Proven experience in handling bank reconciliations. • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with General Ledger. • Demonstrated ability to prepare and record Journal Entries. • Experience in Month End Close processes. • Knowledge and experience in using NetSuite accounting software. • Familiarity with Oracle financial software suite. • Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software. • Experience in using SAP for managing accounting tasks.
