**Hourly rate** : $45+ depending one experience
**Job Description:** Jefferson Wells is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Interim Staff Accountant to join our team for a 6-month assignment. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and in-office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, account analysis, and financial statement preparation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform month-end close activities such as account reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
+ Conduct thorough account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
+ Prepare financial statements and related reports.
+ Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
+ Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
**Qualifications:**
+ Proven experience in accounting, particularly in month-end close processes.
+ Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, D365, NetSuite; Oracle experience is a plus.
+ Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP functions.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
