Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will be expected to handle diverse accounting tasks within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Undertake the responsibility of processing procurement, ensuring a three-way match, and reviewing invoices. • Carry out journal entries and maintain the General Ledger baseline. • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable operations. • Perform light reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records. • Upload information from external systems to the internal system, ensuring accuracy in data entry. • Interact with internal stakeholders, addressing and resolving their queries. • Leverage your higher excel knowledge to manage data effectively using pivot tables and VLookUps. • Utilize Oracle Peoplesoft, NetSuite, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage accounting operations. • Check and correct any discrepancies in the data entered by intern students. • Adhere to established procedures and protocols while carrying out all responsibilities. Requirements • Must be proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required • Must have a thorough understanding of General Ledger management • Should be adept at creating and managing Journal Entries • Must be capable of handling Month End Close activities • Proficiency in using NetSuite is a must • Should have experience in working with Oracle • Knowledge of QuickBooks is essential • Must have experience in using SAP software for accounting tasks Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
