Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is in the Architecture industry and will involve dealing with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger. Responsibilities: • Handling all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Overseeing the reconciliation of bank statements • Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of general ledger entries • Preparing and posting journal entries as needed • Coordinating the month end close process • Utilizing Deltek for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently • Solid understanding of General Ledger management • Experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries • Familiarity with Month End Close procedures • Prior experience with Deltek software is preferred • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently • Knowledge of the architecture industry is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
