Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in Columbus, Indiana, for a Staff Accountant. The role is primarily situated in an office environment, with a focus on managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger tasks in the retail industry. Responsibilities: • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records. • Oversee the process of journal entries, ensuring the correctness and timeliness of entries. • Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring all payments are processed and received in a timely manner. • Perform month-end close activities, including the preparation of financial reports and statements. • Utilize accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks. • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
