Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to become a part of our manufacturing team located in ARVADA, Colorado. In this role, you will be instrumental in handling various accounting tasks, such as processing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and preparing journal entries. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Execute monthly and quarterly end tasks efficiently • Manage accounts payable and receivable operations • Prepare accurate journal entries as part of the accounting procedures • Audit and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy • Handle bank reconciliations effectively • Maintain the general ledger and ensure it is up-to-date • Utilize SAP software for various accounting tasks • Actively assist in the month-end close process Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • Proven experience as a Staff Accountant • Proficiency in SAP software • Familiarity with accounting procedures and principles • Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Demonstrated experience in Bank Reconciliations • Expertise in maintaining and managing the General Ledger • Ability to prepare Journal Entries accurately • Experience with Month End Close procedures • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
