Description We are on the hunt for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Ventura, California. In this role, you'll manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, carry out account reconciliations, and ensure the smooth running of financial and administrative operations. Your expertise in QuickBooks Online will be crucial for efficient data entry, account management, and report generation. Responsibilities: • Manage the end-to-end processes of accounts payable and accounts receivable, guaranteeing accurate and timely billing and payments. • Conduct regular account reconciliations, which include verifying, allocating, and posting business transactions to maintain a precise financial database. • Update and maintain financial records and general ledger accounts regularly. • Use QuickBooks Online for efficient data entry, account management, and producing reports. • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring all financial matters are up to date. • Ensure that all journal entries are made accurately and in a timely manner. • Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and presentation. Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management. • Experience with General Ledger maintenance is required. • Proficiency in preparing and posting Journal Entries is a must. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online for managing and recording financial transactions. • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
