Job Description
This Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day and month-end corporate accounting functions within the accounting group.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with month-end closePrepare monthly journal entriesPrepare and sign off on balance sheet reconciliation accountsAnalyze financial statement flux analysis for variancesPrepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations monthly or quarterlyWork with and reconcile prepaid expenses, setting up schedules for expense recognitionManage Fixed Assets, including depreciation and disposals, and reconcile on a quarterly basisProvide state and local tax support by running reports, following up on tax notices, and solving tax challenges as directedHandle ad hoc projectsPrepare documentation for external auditorsSupport process improvement projectsTest for ERP upgradeEssential SkillsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance since 2021 or more recent1+ years of experience within US GAAP setting1+ years of experience with bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger1+ years of experience with an ERP such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Great Plains, NetSuite, or similar1+ years of experience with creating pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas within Microsoft ExcelAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Sage Fixed Assets is a plusWork Environment
Located at the corporate HQ in West Chester, PA. The expectation is three days onsite: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
