Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team located in Whately, Massachusetts, 01373. As a Staff Accountant, you will oversee the management of accounts payable and receivable, execute bank reconciliations, and handle general ledger entries. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate and timely management of all Accounts Payable aging components • Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the finance director • Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy • Maintain and update the general ledger and various subsidiary ledgers • Record journal entries for income and expenses • Assist in the month-end closing processes and generate financial statements • Utilize NetSuite for various accounting tasks • Use Microsoft Excel to maintain data integrity and perform financial analysis • Manage the processing of payroll for all employees. Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations • Demonstrated knowledge of General Ledger management • Familiarity with Journal Entries processes • Experience with Month End Close procedures • Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Experience in managing Payroll processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
