Salary : $ 45,000- $ 56,000/ Year depending on years of experience PURPOSE:To provide support for the Controller and Chief Financial Officer as it relates to the accuracy and timeliness of all daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting requirements, including general ledger, balance sheet account reconciliations and government reporting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The list of essential duties and responsibilities, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the task to be performed. The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning duties not listed herein is such duties are a logical assignment to the position. + • Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries for interest income and expense, bank transfers and bank service fees. + • Monthly reconciliation of bank account balances. + • Track and record prepaid expenses, including monthly reconciliation. + • As needed, may interface with external financial agencies for information and clarification of charges and expenses. + • Will communicate and collaborate with all programs and program leadership regarding information specific to financial transactions. + • Monthly allocation of expenses including transportation, postage, etc. + • Track and record credit card activity of approximately 10 company card users. + • Manage iPass accounts for company vehicles. + • Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts including Accounts Payable, Notes Payable, Prepaid Insurance, Prepaid Loan Costs, etc. + • Management of the central supply ordering process, allocation of costs to user departments, and journal entries to record activity. + • Provide support and act as back-up to Accounts Receivable and Payroll processing. + • Ensure all Accounting Policies and Procedures are properly maintained and kept current. + • Assist with the preparation of various audit schedules and confirmations for the year-end audit, as well as other audits and reviews as necessary. Work with auditors/reviewers as needed. + • Any special projects and other duties as assigned by the Controller, Director, and Chief Financial Officer. + • Successfully completes Little City required training, re-training, and any additional training as required by Little City policies and practices, or as assigned by his or her immediate supervisor. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Strong Excel skills required, along with familiarity with Outlook and Teams. Sage software experience would be a strong plus. Must be very detail oriented, highly organized, and analytical. Must be a good learner, show initiative to take on new tasks, and be able to work with minimal supervision. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject to sitting for prolonged periods; frequently walks, stands, grasps, lifts, holds, or feels objects; occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Extended use of computer and typing is required. The employee frequently is required to use manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination when working and handling office equipment. The employee is subject to assist and support up to 25 pounds with varying amounts of assistance on a reoccurring basis. The employee is required to have corrected vision and hearing within normal range and the ability to operate office equipment.
