Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Jacksonville, Florida. The role's main function includes handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities within our industry. The workplace is dynamic, and the location is in a convenient and accessible area. Responsibilities: • Handle all Accounts Payable (AP) activities, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on time. • Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), keeping track of all incoming payments and ensuring prompt action on overdue invoices. • Perform regular bank reconciliations, aligning our records with bank statements to ensure financial accuracy. • Maintain the General Ledger, recording all business transactions and ensuring accurate reflection in our financial statements. • Prepare and post Journal Entries, ensuring they are accurate and complete. • Participate in Month End Close activities, helping to finalize financial reports and statements. • Utilize financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage and analyze financial data. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role • Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations • Proficiency in managing General Ledger • Capable of making accurate Journal Entries • Familiar with Month-End Close procedures • Knowledge of NetSuite software is required • Proficient in using Oracle software • QuickBooks proficiency is a must-have • Experience with SAP software is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
