Job Description

Summary: 

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a range of accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient and accurate processing of accounting transactions. This position will ensure the needs of the company and vendors are consistently met in a timely manner while working in a fast-paced environment. The model candidate must be enthusiastic about embracing change and can multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.this role will be on a hybrid schedule that will be in office in a bi-weekly cadence


Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive camera installment sale contracts and related inventory transactions; this includes preparation of amortization schedules and importing invoicesProvide analysis of customer accounts for collectability issuesManage internal billing process by reviewing contracts, customer set up in Salesforce and NetSuite, and generating customer invoices for the data revenue streamHandle manual calculation of affiliate revenue share payments and work with system developers to improve the processPerform reconciliations of key balance sheet and P&L accountsDesign and maintain spreadsheets, work papers, and financial reportsContribute in process improvements to further streamline revenue tasks and shorten revenue closeDevelop procedures to ensure the integrity of ERP systems and databasesBuild and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholdersParticipate in system enhancements within NetSuite and external systemsOther duties as assigned

 
Requirements:

Experience in communicating clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writingAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong attention to detailGoal-oriented and able to meet deadlines as requiredProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)Experience with NetSuite is a plus
