Staff SAP Solutions Engineer 

 

As part of the Business Applications team, as SAP Staff Solutions engineer, the key team member will be accountable for operational support and managing end-to-end developments.

They will work very closely with the stakeholders, both business and software engineering, and internal and external service providers, providing guidance and designing solutions to best address the business needs and accomplish the IT goals in terms of agility, scalability, and cost.

What You’ll Be Doing

Collaborate with the business team on SAP functionality demand to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements and consolidate supporting business cases. Prepares functional specifications for conversions and enhancements, as well as build and design configurations and minor enhancements. Define solutions within SAP to meet business requirements and work with users to gain UAT sign-off. Serve as the subject matter expert for crucial SAP SD/LE modules and processes. Serve as the technical subject matter expert for SAP and SFDC integrations. Serve as the technical subject matter expert for sales/Contract processes. Provide application support, identifying and implementing approved corrective and preventative actions in continuous improvement efforts. Interface with business partners and IT teams, including internal and external consultants to ensure business requirements are met through proper system configuration and testing. Work with contractors to ensure SLAs are met.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in requirements gathering & documentation, design, testing, implementation, and support of the SD/LE modules. Sound technical knowledge performing SAP configurations, customizations, system administration, and working on interfaces. Thorough knowledge of cross-functional integration of SAP SD/LE with Supply chain and Finance modules Solid understanding of Order to Cash, Supply chain, and Purchasing processes. Possesses excellent knowledge of business processes related to SD and FICO modules. Able to articulate solution designs and use ERP configuration creatively versus developing custom enhancements. ERP project management process knowledge is preferred. Ability to adapt and learn new business processes and applications, including other SAP Modules.

The base cash compensation for this California-based role is below. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for bonus, equity, and a generous benefits package. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate skill, experience, expertise, and location and may vary from the amount listed above. Compensation may be different in other locations.San Francisco Bay Area Pay Range$180,000—$200,000 USD
