SRSLY Program Coordinator - 20 hours/wk
**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** **Description:** The SRSLY Chelsea Program Coordinator supports implementation of the action plan for this youth substance abuse prevention coalition. This is a part-time, 20-hour per week position. **Position Summary:** Serves as the Program Coordinator for the SRSLY Chelsea Coalition, whose mission is to promote the health and well being of area youth and decrease the incidence of substance abuse. Under the guidance of the department Manager, and Coalition Director, the Program Coordinator will support volunteers in implementing evidenced based programming, policies and strategies that target risk and protective factors associated with youth substance abuse. **Projected Schedule** : This position is 20 working hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling. This position is currently hybrid, working some remotely, and some in-person activities in Chelsea. **Qualifications:** The Coordinator will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, Master's preferred, with concentration in public health, social work, education, psychology and /or community planning and organization. Experience working with youth is required. Training and experience in substance abuse prevention is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required. **Essential Functions and Responsibilities:** Coordinates implementation of projects as outlined in yearly action plans, in conjunction with Director, including the public awareness and anti-stigma campaigns, and substance-free fun events. Assists Director in data collection and analysis for program and coalition evaluations. Maintains records of coalition activities, including but not limited to: meeting agendas and minutes, membership database, donor list, and press clippings. Works with a wide audience including children, adolescents, parents, teachers, health care professionals, and the faith-based and business communities. Plans and facilitates meetings with youth and adult volunteer coalition members, including some evenings and weekends. Manages multiple tasks and project initiatives. Plans and implements project activities within budgetary limits.
