Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.

Those in deal integration and valuation realisation at PwC will focus on assisting clients in successfully integrating acquisitions and maximising the value of their investments. You will be responsible for conducting valuations, financial analysis, and developing strategies for post-merger integration.

You will be part of a growing team driving strategic programs, data analytics, innovation, deals, cyber resiliency, response, and technical implementation activities. You will have access to not only the top Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Forensics professionals at PwC, but at our clients and industry analysts across the globe. 

 

Our Cyber & Data Privacy Diligence, Integrations and Divestitures team is focused on working with clients throughout the Mergers and Acquisitions lifecycle and will put you at the center of our clients' growth strategies, working at "deal speed." You will get the experience of working with an array of other PwC M&A specialists, our clients, their lawyers, bankers, and other professional advisors. You will help our clients understand the cyber risks and business implications associated with a potential deal, or plan the security integration or separation of a future deal. Ultimately, you will sharpen your technical skills and knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, and forensics and at the same time learn to speak in the language of deals.  You will learn how to provide the most value to our clients in M&A by explaining to them how cybersecurity and privacy issues could affect their deal thesis and cause them to either adjust their price or long run return on investment assumptions.

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree 

Preferred Fields of Study: Computer and Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Information Security and Privacy Law 

Preferred Certifications: GSEC, SEC+, Network+, Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Intrusion Analyst (GIAC) CISM, CIPM, CISSP  

 

Minimum Years of Experience: 10+ years 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrates experienced subject matter expertise and/or proven record of success in the following: Understanding Networking and applying Network Principles (including the OSI Model, TCP/IP, DNS), System Administration, and Security Architecture; Applying Incident Response Frameworks and Handling Procedures; Applying vulnerability management and penetration testing of systems, applications, and networks; and, Understanding information security, data privacy compliance, assurance, and/or other security industry leading practices and principles. Demonstrates some level of ability and/or proven record of success with: Working in a shift environment in the assigned shifts, with holidays aligned with client schedules; Leading daily huddles, shift handovers, preparing reports or providing inputs for reports as assigned;
