To support this effort, we seek a Senior Training Specialist II to help build a leading-edge learning program.
The Sr. Training Specialist II for One Company will design and develop effective training programs, aids and materials to facilitate training for GBS+ associates locally and globally. You will utilize knowledge of adult learning research and best practice to deliver the best functional process training, new hire training, systems or technology training and global community building. You will explore and apply digital learning tools and techniques to enhance engagement and efficiency while ensuring compliance with enterprise Learning & Development quality standards.
Sr. Training Specialist II works under the direction of the One Company Training Manager and collaborates with colleagues from the One Company Change, Communications, Talent and PMO teams to ensure a wholistic approach to successfully migrating work to the GBS+ platform.

Promote GBS+ learning strategy and approachEnsure existing training materials and best practice are incorporated into GBS+ trainingEnsue Ecolab brand standards and quality requirements are met in all training materials, digital and printedProvide accurate and timely updates to Readiness and Program leadershipEnsure consistent application of One Company/ GBS+ training tools and methodologies.Training Design and Development
Develop and conduct complex training programs in response to organizational needs. Analyze employee training needs and develop appropriate new programs and materials.Collaborate globally to design, build, and deliver top quality learning materials and tools.Facilitate effective information gathering sessions and instructional design reviews with business, function and GBS+ subject matter experts (SMEs) to effectively capture institutional knowledgeDesign effective blended training solutions which are job-based, learner-centered, organized, accurate, practical and sustainable.Consistently meet project plan deliverables, timeline and budget. Report progress and escalating risk. Be open to feedback, listen actively, and ensure SMEs inputs are applied for best training outcomesDeliver training materials including but not limited to curriculum, high level design documents (HDDs), process overviews with instructor playbooks, elearning, desk top procedures, exercise workbooks, knowledge transfer or practice exercises, knowledge checks and other appropriate learning assessments.Training Delivery
Develop and facilitate robust Train the Trainer program to activate local trainers for GBS+ training deliveryAssist GBS+ Site leaders in meeting all site training needsFacilitate classroom, remote, and train-the-trainer programs.Track training material feedback post-delivery and apply recommendations as appropriateCollaboration
Maintain regular connections with other GBS+ Instructional Designers to assure consistent quality globallyCollaborate with Knowledge Management Team to ensure consistency and accuracy for all learning assets in the GBS+ Knowledge Repository and across all knowledge management platformsWork closely with Change Specialists, Communications Managers and Talent/Recruiting team to ensure understanding of benefits, impacts, appropriate messaging, associate profiles and learning requirements, as well as workplan, dependencies and deliverable due dates.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree10-12 years experience in Instructional Design, training and/or educationExperience working with adult learning principles, methodologies and toolsStrong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate collaborationProven experience in delivering high quality work, on timeAbility to interpret, develop, and present information to multiple audiences,Skilled listener who can gauge reactions and guide conversations to uncover learner needsProficient with MS Office suite, especially Powerpoint, MS Forms, Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerBI.Familiarity with Workday Learning & Articulate 360Preferred Qualifications:
