Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Sr. Technical Program Manager to manage data center infrastructure goals and programs, as well as manage cross-organizational constituent relationships. As a Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM) in the Central Operations Repair (COR) team focusing on the Elastic Block Storage (EBS) service, your responsibilities will focus on driving efficiencies into our service, support, and engineering business models to reduce our marginal costs and optimize service fleet uptime for the EBS fleet. We seek to provide infrastructure availability that is indistinguishable from perfect and require the right builder to help coordinate efforts across a wide array of domains.
You will own and managing data center infrastructure service goals that will span multiple organizations and require effective stakeholder engagements across various AWS business units. Business-impacting projects you would be responsible for will enhance data center operations efficiency, improve our marginal cost models, and increase our platform availability for our customers. It is expected that these projects require timely execution with the highest degrees of safety, security, performance, availability and reliability.
Our ideal candidate is an articulate, motivated, and organized individual with experience in leading global initiatives at an enterprise scale. The role requires the ability to quickly assimilate knowledge spanning numerous technology subjects and apply this to data center projects, products and operations.

- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and Organizational goals tracking dynamic cross-organizational programs and products.
- Coordinate effective cross-organizational engagements to drive closure on long standing, complex, and often ambiguous problem sets.
- Own one or more highly visible, complex, cross-functional projects from end to end; including product definition, roadmap planning, resource planning and project execution.
- Be Accountable for the overall strategy as well as driving tactical delivery of key deliverables through partner teams and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with key owners and stakeholders across teams and organizations.
- Escalate and engage partner teams and leadership as needed to drive attainment of key program deliverables and objectives.
- Synthesis large and complex data sources and program details into concise narratives and program status reports.
- Own regular Business Reviews (xBR's) at appropriate cadence for the topic and audience, with the ability to communicate across different levels in the organization.
- Be data-driven and understand how to identify the right data points to effectively articulate the What, Why, and How of in scope projects.

A day in the life of a Sr TPM on the COR Fleet Optimization Team is a mix between program management meetings, deep dives, and personal development. They coordinate: strategic engagements, stakeholder engagements, Correction of Error (COE) improvements, and strategic goals across AWS service offerings.
