We're looking for a talented and experienced Sr. Technical Lead (Backend), to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality applications using cutting-edge front-end technologies and provide technical leadership and direction for the development team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.10+ years of experience in software development, with 6+ years of experience in leading and managing development teams (In-House and Vendors).Proven expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including experience with various versions (e.g., T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers).In-depth knowledge of Azure Cosmos DB, including data modelling, indexing strategies, and querying capabilities.Solid understanding of Azure Synapse Analytics, including data warehousing, data lakes, and data integration concepts.Experience with data security best practices and compliance regulations.Experience with performance optimization techniques for relational and NoSQL databases.

 

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and direction for the data platform team, focusing on Microsoft technologies like SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Synapse Analytics.Design, develop, implement, and maintain complex, scalable, and high-performing web applications.Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and best practices in technologies.Mentor developers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.Conduct code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Participate in architectural decisions and define the technical roadmap.Estimate tasks, manage timelines, and track project progress.Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring project delivery within budget and on time.Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.

Bonus Points

Experience in GitHub Copilot.Experience of working in manufacturing domain, with experience / awareness on the following tools:RTDuet, Factory Talk, PC&R, SAPOSI-PI, HighByteMicrosoft Azure Application Insights, to monitor application performance and analyze the outcomes (response-time, errors etc.) to actions.
