Sr. Talent Management Specialist

Florida Crystals is a leading domestic sugar producer and North America’s first fully integrated cane sugar company, guiding our sugar from farm to table.  We are America’s first and only producer of certified organic sugar, grown and harvested in the United States. Our renewable energy facility is the largest of its kind in North America and provides clean energy that powers our sugar operations, which helps us reduce our use of fossil fuels.  Florida Crystals also sustainably farms rice, sweet corn and other vegetables in rotation with our sugarcane.  Our rice mill is the only rice mill in Florida. 

OVERVIEW

The Sr. Talent Management Specialist will support the talent management programs that drive company values, increase employee engagement, and accelerate performance to deliver business results. Talent programs include performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, career development and other strategic projects. The senior specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders, including HR managers, department heads, and senior leadership, to drive talent initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and foster a high-performance culture.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Campus Recruiting: Lead campus recruiting for early career programs such as the Graduate Development Program, Commercial Development Program, and Supply Chain Rotation Program. Coordinate job postings, on-campus relationships, and events. Align with the Director, Talent, Diversity & Inclusion, and business leaders on demand planning, selection, and candidate placement. Recruitment Process Management: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection for early career programs. Early Career Management Program Management: Manage comprehensive early career programs to ensure programs provide meaningful learning experiences, align with organizational goals, and support development of future leaders. Oversee the full employee lifecycle for early career professionals, from recruitment and onboarding to development, performance management, and offboarding from program. Coordinate induction events for early career programs, participate in check-ins with program participants and managers on a quarterly basis, and organize annual presentations by program participants. Onboarding Gifts Management: Manage and order onboarding gifts for new hires, including vendor management, monitoring, and managing the onboarding gift budget and inventory. Performance Management: Assist in managing performance function, including performance, change management/communication of performance management, and facilitating performance management and training as needed. Talent Management Support: Provide talent management support to build end-user knowledge, skills, and abilities in key areas such as Talent Reviews and Calibration, Succession and Performance Management, Assessment/Selection, and Competency Management. Data Analysis: Analyze talent management metrics and provide insights to drive continuous improvement. SuccessFactors Support: Assist end users in troubleshooting issues related to the SuccessFactors Onboarding, Talent Management, and Performance Management modules. EEO and AAP Guidance: Provide guidance to HR managers on EEO and AAP-related matters, fostering an understanding of the importance of diversity and non-discrimination in the workplace. Affirmative Action Plan Preparation: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the Affirmative Action Plan, ensuring accurate and timely reporting on AAP goals and progress. Monitor compliance of Good Faith Efforts by HR business partners. Employee Engagement Survey: Support the design, implementation, and reporting of the annual Employee Engagement Survey. Collaboration: Work closely with HR business partners and other stakeholders to align talent management strategies with business objectives. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

WORK EXPERIENCES

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HR related functions that includes talent management, talent acquisition, employee engagement and performance management. Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and managing activities to meet multiple competing deadlines. Effective oral and written communication skills with key stakeholders, including senior leaders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Talent Management Systems with SuccessFactors experience preferred.

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Human Resources or related field Certification in talent management or HR-related areas is a plus.

High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

 

 

LOCATION OF ROLE

West Palm Beach, FL Hybrid work schedule, working three days in the office and two days remotely
