The LinkedIn Product Engineering - Trust and AI Technical Program Management Group is looking for a Senior Staff level Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our team. The Trust Team (2200+) at LinkedIn is a critical part of the Product Engineering organization, consisting of a passionate group of engineers and technical program managers dedicated to ensuring the safety, security, and integrity of LinkedIn’s platform. We design and implement large-scale systems focused on trust, safety, and user protection, addressing challenges related to fraud detection, account security, content moderation, and privacy. Our efforts are foundational to creating a secure and reliable experience for millions of users worldwide.
The Senior Staff Technical Program Manager (TPM) will have the opportunity to drive cutting-edge improvements to LinkedIn’s Trust Engineering/AI initiatives, leveraging advanced AI and machine learning to enhance user safety, security, and platform integrity. You will own and drive key areas of LinkedIn’s Trust and Safety org-wide initiatives, influencing how we protect and serve a billion users. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams across LinkedIn, as well as Microsoft teams, to lead and deliver high-impact solutions that tackle complex trust and safety challenges at scale. The LinkedIn TPM role is highly diversified and includes initiating, planning and executing intermediate to large scale, cross-functional and company-wide programs.

The successful candidate will have solid technical background, with the ability to influence the direction of Trust and Safety products we build. You will have a proven track record of leading large-scale Trust Engineering initiatives, driving complex programs that leverage advanced AI to solve challenges in fraud detection, content moderation, and user security. You’ll be able to influence senior leaders, including those at the VP level, and work cross-functionally to drive trust-focused solutions across the organization. With excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, you will inspire teams and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure impactful, scalable solutions are delivered.
Responsibilities:
• Own and drive key cross functional, technical AI and engineering initiatives across Linkedin.
• Ability to influence senior leaders, empower, build strategic relationships and align people across a broad variety of job functions through relationships and technical expertise.
• Develop strong partnerships with engineering and product management leaders and build the necessary subject matter expertise.
• Take ambiguous technical problems, formulate plans and drive teams to deliver successful results.
• Understand the long term implications of architectural and technical changes, while not losing focus on the short term deliverables.
• Lead efforts to identify risks, resolve key project conflicts, and establish appropriate resolution paths.
• Continuously improve and scale the organization. Improve processes where needed, while being cognizant of not slowing down engineering teams.
• Create a collaborative work environment that fosters shared understanding, transparency, mastery, autonomy, innovation and continuous learning.
• Analytical and truth seeking. Ability to understand sophisticated concepts and make reasoned decisions objectively.
• Fluency in both written and verbal communication skills, including high emotional intelligence.
• Fill in gaps across roles and functions as needed, performing as an adaptive problem solver
• Experience with or solid understanding of end-to-end agile software development.
• Coach and mentor others on the team.
Basic Qualifications:
• B.S./B.A. degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 9+ years professional experience in an engineering or technical team
• 7+ years are managing technical programs/projects
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience managing company wide large scale high impact technical programs in a lead capacity where multiple TPMs were involved.
• Experience working with software engineering leadership, technical teams, and individual contributors.
• Ability to communicate authoritatively with deep technical depth.
• Ability to learn new concepts and technologies.
• Hands-on software development experience.
• Knowledge of Trust domain, machine learning applications and platforms, Azure would be a big plus.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $160,000 to $262,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
