Responsibilities Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection (CUC), and IM & Presence (IMP).Manage Cisco Voice Gateways (ISR/ASR) and Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) for SIP trunking and call routing.Perform CUCM version upgrades, firmware updates, and security patching to ensure system reliability.Administer IP phone provisioning (Cisco 7800, 8800, Jabber, Webex) and device profiles.Monitor system performance using RTMT (Real-Time Monitoring Tool), Prime Collaboration, and third-party monitoring tools.Design and optimize dial plans, call routing, translation patterns, route lists, and hunt groups for efficient call flow.Configure and troubleshoot SIP trunking, MGCP, H.323, and PSTN connectivity.Support call center solutions, including Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) or Enterprise (UCCE).Provide Tier 2/3 support for users, troubleshooting one-way audio, dropped calls, and phone registration issues.Work with Cisco TAC (Technical Assistance Center) for escalated issues and bug fixes.Document and track all PBX-related incidents, configurations, and changes using ITIL standards.Implement secure voice protocols (SRTP/TLS), CUCM access control policies, and LDAP authentication.Ensure compliance with E911 regulations, configuration and testing.Perform CUCM database backups and disaster recovery planning for system redundancy.Support integration with Voicemail systems (Unity Connection, third-party voicemail solutions) and Webex Unified Communications.Assist with PBX migrations, expansions, or decommissioning of legacy Cisco voice systems.Work with network engineers to optimize QoS (Quality of Service), VLANs, and firewall configurations for VoIP traffic.Participate in Tier 2 on-call rotation.Participate in Change Management (review, implementation) as required.Avaya Aura experience a plusRequirementsEducation:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.Additional PreferencesNo additional preferences.
