JOB SUMMARY:
The Optimizely B2B configured commerce senior IT software engineer is responsible for understanding business needs, designing the Optimizely configured commerce solution and to work with developers to ensure the solution is built to meet all needs. This person is responsible to create, scale up, enhance and upgrade Optimizely configured commerce solution which is used as dealer ordering portal for Polaris International.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
System Design, Build, Validation and Implementation
Understanding the business requirements and functional design documents and design the relevant solution (both Optimizely configured commerce front end and back-end solution)
Responsible for system upgrades
Responsible to ensure the solution is built as per best practices and industry standards.
Responsible for leading and building solutions in addition to guiding the team of developers.
Responsible to perform code reviews, performance tests and benchmarking.
Responsible to make architectural and design decision in coordination with enterprise architects as needed.
Responsible to define, plan and perform unit tests, integration tests and support user acceptance tests.
Responsible to create implementation plans and coordinate with ERP team for production implementation.
Provide the required support by trouble shooting issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/software design, Computer Information Systems or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 3-5+ years of enterprise e-commerce (B2B & B2C) experience
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in delivering and leading solutions as an Optimizely B2B Commerce engineer
• Strong proficiency and fluency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web Services, ORM, Responsive Design, SQL Server, React JS, GIT workflow, TDS, Continuous Integration, Team City, Azure.
• Experience integrating a variety of 3rd party systems
• Strong understanding of Agile Development Methodology.
• Strong customer service orientation
• Experience in building APIs
Preferred
Ability and desire to span SA and Developer roles is highly valued!Experience in integrating the portal preferably with MS D365 FO through headless commerce engine likely CSU.Optimizely Configured Commerce Cloud Developer certificationExperience with marketing, sales and service business processes.#LI-BO1
