What you'll do Docusign is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Notary team. We build and operate sophisticated solutions that address global business needs, overcoming challenges that span cultures, and legal jurisdictions, and impact millions of people and businesses daily. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, Agile engineering team, contributing to architectural design and software development. You will collaborate with remote teams in a multicultural environment and help your colleagues excel. You will work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, tackling challenging problems with current technologies and tools. Your role includes brainstorming, designing, and implementing new solutions while mentoring and modeling engineering best practices. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering. Responsibility Drive the design, implementation, testing, and release of products Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code in C#, .Net, and other object-oriented languages Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to develop new features Participate in an Agile environment, utilizing Scrum practices, code reviews, automated unit testing, end-to-end testing, continuous integration, and deployment Design scalable solutions and build fault-tolerant systems leveraging telemetry and metrics Investigate, resolve, and maintain code for production issues as needed Ensure code quality, readability, and maintainability Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 8+ years of experience in software engineering Experience in full-stack development Experience with advanced web applications and TDD on the client side Experience in modern server-side development with programming languages such as C# Experience with Javascript and React.JS is an add-on Experience with both NoSQL and SQL databases Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies Experience using Git or other version control systems Fluency in English, both verbal and written Preferred Strong experience with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile/Scrum environment Passion for exploring new technologies and a proven track record as a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership Experience in a SaaS environment, with practical knowledge of Cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Azure, and large-scale microservice architectures Proficiency in the entire software development lifecycle, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, testing, and regional cloud deployments Expertise in debugging high-priority production issues and managing work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Eagerness to continuously learn and adopt new software technologies Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $145,800.00 - $214,350.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following: Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance. Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
