Description Robert Half is hiring! We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Software Engineer in the IT Services industry. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be designing and implementing e-commerce solutions, integrating APIs, and developing back-end services. You will also be optimizing applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness, while collaborating with various teams to create cohesive e-commerce strategies. Responsibilities • Develop and implement headless e-commerce solutions utilizing Shopify Hydrogen to enable dynamic and customizable storefronts. • Manage and integrate APIs to ensure seamless data flow between front-end and back-end systems. • Design responsive front-end interfaces using frameworks like Tailwind and React, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and optimal performance. • Develop back-end services using relevant technologies to support custom functionalities and integrations. • Customize and enhance Shopify’s capabilities focusing on customer needs and business objectives. • Utilize Shopify’s Storefront API to create tailored shopping experiences and integrate third-party applications. • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness, ensuring high-quality performance across devices. • Monitor site performance issues and troubleshoot, implementing fixes as needed. • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to develop cohesive e-commerce strategies. • Communicate status updates proactively and actively participate in meetings to provide feedback on development projects and issue resolution. Requirements • Proven experience in backend development • Expertise in API development • Proficiency with Shopify and Hydrogen platforms • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset • Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience • Continual learning mindset and the ability to keep up with industry trends and advancements • Familiarity with Agile methodologies • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines concurrently • Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms.
