**About This Role:**
We are seeking a candidate with a strong understanding of enterprise sales in national accounts, professional services delivery, and the ability to build successful relationships with senior management in SaaS, Building IoT, EMS and energy management solutions. This role supports multi-site customers across various sectors, including retail, QSRs, banks, warehouses, and healthcare.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing customer expectations, driving growth, and using innovative and creative approaches to identify and solve customer problems. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and solution tailoring to negotiations and contracting. The ideal candidate will have experience building new senior management relationships with large national accounts.
**Job Description:**
Business Development/Sales Responsibilities: Business Development/Sales Responsibilities:
+ Own the sales process from prospecting, reaching out, negotiating, and closing large multi-year contracts.
+ Prospect and close deals with Fortune 500 companies and national accounts in retail, restaurants, food service, banking, and healthcare verticals.
+ Engage senior management on the customer side to understand their needs and present tailored solutions accordingly.
+ Leverage company executives to build relationships with CXOs and senior management in customer organizations.
+ Collaborate with facilities, energy, procurement, finance, IT, and legal teams within the customer organization during the negotiation and contracting process.
+ Provide weekly sales reports and detailed account plans on strategic pursuits.
+ Work with internal functions (engineering, solutioning, and presales teams ) to strategize account pursuits and develop solutions for specific key accounts and engage customers in a consultative manner throughout the sales cycle.
+ Ability to work with global teams across various time zones.
+ Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and manage the sales forecast.
+ Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's offerings.
+ Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ 15+ years of sales and hunting/new business development experience
+ 5+ years of experience engaging senior management with demos and new technology
+ Ability to travel up to 50% (domestic)
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Proven track record of closing large, complex deals with Fortune 500 companies
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills
+ Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
+ Strong negotiation and contract management skills
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ High level of business acumen and strategic thinking
+ Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

**Pay Range:**
$109,456 - $191,938 Annually
