Sr. Sales Manager, e-Commerce

AWS Korea is seeking a sales leader for e-Commerce who will be responsible for providing business leadership and management of a portfolio, leading a dedicated sales team. You will build and maintain key relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment projects and engage resources. You will define a CXO relationship strategy within the account, including engaging with AWS senior leadership team for executive sponsorships, coordinating executive business reviews and maintain customer satisfaction. You will further serve as a strategic Voice of the Customer for the strategic E commerce customer.
As the senior business owner, this Sales Leader will serve as the voice of the most strategic e-Ccommerce customers in Korea. The Sales Leader is responsible for leading a group of AMs in teaming with the customer’s leadership and Lines of Business Organizations to build strategic relationships across the account, articulating a clear vision and generating enthusiasm, while impacting all business groups. Additional responsibilities include selling at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. The Sales Leader will work with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams and Professional Services) to support customer interests. This includes dotted line responsibility for downstream sales and technical resources that may be geographically distributed. Development of formal case studies and other forms of references highlighting activity and workloads running on AWS is core to the role.
Key job responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with the C-suite and key decision makers; understand the customer’s business and technology challenges; dive deep and understand stated, unstated needs, issues.
- Drive a Challenger Sales challenge the status quo, inspire customer to a bolder vision and increase the velocity of shift to digital; Address short, mid and long-term time horizons; Work with Enterprise customer, AWS leadership and all key stakeholders to create buy-in and joint ownership of transformation strategy and execution plan
- Provide leadership to pull together and orchestrate all AWS resources (Sales teams, executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams) to support customer success in digital transformation.
- Account and sales plans to drive revenue growth; Develop and close new needle moving sales opportunities by bringing the best of AWS technology and services to deliver customer outcomes.
- Develop CXO level advocacy - Ensure customer actually realizes the business value from transformation and agrees to be a customer reference
