Sr. RMA Technician (Contractor)
About the Role:
Matterport is looking for an RMA Technician to support the diagnosing and repair of our cutting edge depth-sensing cameras. You’ll perform and document testing for returned systems, troubleshoot testing failures, and support the responsible recycling of system components.  The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with testing and debugging and be comfortable working with hand tools on mechanical assemblies.  Strong documentation skills and problem-solving abilities are required.What you will do: Document and test the condition of returned Matterport CamerasTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, reporting findings to managementCreate, track, and close issues in our ticketing systemWork with Engineering to on root-cause-analysis and failure investigationPerform reworks as assignedBreak down systems for recyclingWho you are:Minimum 3+ years experience testing hardware components, PCBAs, circuits and systemsUnderstanding of electrical and mechanical systemsStrong word processing skillsStrong written/verbal communication, detail-oriented, and hands-onQuality and process orientedMethodical problem solving skillsAble to balance multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $29.26 an hour + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
