Sr. Research Analyst - Real Estate
Overview The Senior Research Analyst role is focused on predictive analytics, leveraging insights from our market intelligence platforms to identify and address business challenges at the site, market, and chain-levels. Overview of Responsibilities The front-line of Research, who takes on unstructured business problems, custom-crafts a solution, and articulates/advocates a Research position for our stakeholders Supports sales and cannibalization models improvements to improve accuracy Explains model and other predictive outputs to non-technical stakeholders Supports creation new econometric and spatial models Continually grows into the capacity of Subject Matter Expert on applied analytics tools like Alteryx; responsible for developing and deploying advanced workflows Team lead for formulating and executing plans-of-action to address ad hoc demands Liaison with internal stakeholders for existing and new sustained analytics and market intelligence collaborations Nurtures dialogue with Research teammates, to drive the evolution of knowledge platforms to keep up with the demands of our business. Shares in core day-to-day Research responsibilities such as new site forecasts, approval/tour prep, TA delineation Presents analyses with Research Manager in cross-functional collaboration forums with Marketing (Grand Openings Team), Sprouts Foundation, Merchandising, Ops Finance, Etc. #LI-LR1 Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, Master's desired. Areas of Study/Specialization: Economics; Finance; Geographic Information Systems (GIS); Statistics; Quantitative Social Sciences; Quantitative Marketing. Relevant Experience: 5 years of relevant experience Type of Experience: Multi-unit retail finance or analytics; GIS mapping and analysis; Predictive modeling; communicating technical content to non-technical audiences, presentation to non-technical audiences. Technical Skills: Statistics; Programming; Predictive Analytics; Database Management; GIS Applications (Arc GIS, Q GIS); Analytics and Data Science platforms such as Alteryx.
