Sr. Project Manager - Security and Crisis Management
**CTG is seeking to fill a Sr. Project Manager - Security and Crisis Management opening for our client in New Brunswick, NJ.** **Location:** New Brunswick, NJ **Duration:** 12 months with possible extension **Work Week:** 35 hours, Monday to Friday **Duties:** The Sr. Project Manager - Security and Crisis Management will play a critical role in reviewing, evaluating, and enhancing the security protocols and crisis management strategies that ensure the safety of all visitors, employees, and customers at the organization’s facilities. This senior-level position requires the ability to identify security vulnerabilities, develop remediation strategies, and collaborate across departments to ensure an integrated approach to physical security and crisis preparedness. The ideal candidate will be responsible for: + Overseeing security measures for the protection of people, property, and assets across various facilities. + Collaborating with key departments, including Administration, Public Safety Health, and Emergency Management, to research, assess, and develop effective security and crisis management plans. + Leading and managing security and crisis management projects, from initiation through to execution and completion. + Conducting risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and develop plans for mitigation. + Developing and facilitating training programs related to security policies, crisis response, evacuation plans, and workplace violence prevention. + Preparing and presenting reports on security measures and crisis management strategies to senior leadership and other stakeholders. + Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal security regulations and guidelines. **Skills:** + Strong project management capabilities with proven experience in security and crisis management. + Expertise in stakeholder management, building effective communication channels with multiple teams and departments. + Ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of security protocols. + Comprehensive knowledge of security systems and protocols, including access control, surveillance, and building security infrastructure. + Proficient in the creation of security training and awareness programs. + Skilled in evaluating risks and vulnerabilities, and implementing mitigation strategies. **Experience:** + 7-10 years of demonstrated experience in managing security and/or crisis management projects in either the public or private sector. + Significant experience in assessing and remediating security vulnerabilities, along with the ability to develop and implement detailed security strategies. + Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective outcomes. + Experience in creating crisis management plans, including training staff, conducting simulations, and ensuring readiness for emergency situations. **Education:** + BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement, or related discipline. + Master’s degree in Project Management, Public Security, or a related field is a plus. **Certifications:** + Project Management Certification (PMP, PMI-ACP). + Security and Crisis Management Certifications (PSC, CPP, APP, CME, CMCS) highly preferred.
