Sr. Project Manager
Immediate opportunity for a Sr. Project Manager to work remotely for one of the nation’s largest energy providers.

Employment Type: Contract

The chosen Project Manager(s) will work within a large PMO and will need to be self-driven, patient, and assertive.

The specific project will focus on Data Science and AI solutions.

Key Attributes: Enterprise data-related projects including the modeling of data, forecasts, and predictive analytics. Subscription-based project experience would be ideal. Strong Project Management skill set. Ability to choose, and work with preferred tools while managing projects however you choose. This environment can be classified as "meeting heavy" so the need for strong communication skills is a MUST.
Job Description: Project ownership in delivering successful project delivery including full implementation (initiation to deployment) for simultaneous initiatives using Enterprise Data & Analytics SDLC control guidelines. Participate in establishing best practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand the organization's capabilities. Provide status reporting on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership. Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, training materials, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including the project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders. Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones. Deliver high-quality software solutions using Agile techniques.
Required Skills: 8+ years’ experience with delivering IT projects in an enterprise organization. Experienced with Data related projects including data analysis, modeling. and forecasting. Project delivery experience within in the energy domain preferred. Background in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall.
