The team you will be a part of The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.This role in summary

The position is responsible to lead and execute design and development of existing Subsystem and product level projects by leading Mechanical Structures, thermal, hydraulics. Builds on organizational/process knowledge, understands business needs. Solves complex problems, trade-off & prioritize design decisions.Responsible to meet product and sub-system level quality upgrades as part of Existing Product engineering.

Your responsibilities will include

Educational Details- BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech Mechanical

Experience required- 6-9 yrs

Technical -

1.  Proficiency in designing parts in Sheet metal, Plastic, Casting and other manufacturing processes and materials

2. Proficient in Thermal Engineering and Thermal stacks

3. Proficient knowledge of fundamental engineering principles and  tools to verify design for assembly/ Reliability/ Manufacturability/ Safety.

4. Expert in GD&T, Design Standards, variation analysis.

5. Proficient in material selection and in-depth knowledge in metal, alloy &  polymer materials.

6. Ability to interpret Simulation / Test results.

7. Expert in Product Development process.

8. Expert in project planning & management.

9. Six sigma Green Belt certified

Job Details-

Experience in defining system requirements and system engineering 

Own sub-system product design and development

Project scoping based on engineering and cross functional requirements and physics of problem.

Interpret lab reports / simulation reports to drive the design decisions.
