Engineering Manager II

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in San Luis Potosi. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tCreation of Class I, II and III drawings•\tCreation of Bills of Materials•\tSelection of adequate Electrical Equipment.•\tAssist customer on questions/comments regarding his product.•\tCoaches new engineers to learn the products faster.•\tSupport local manufacturing team with design questions.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (desirable), electro-mechanical engineer, control or automation engineer, mechatronic\t5 yrs experience in electrical design of Switchgears, Protection and Controls\tPLC Software design Experience (ABB/GE/Emerson/AllenBradley)\tElectrical Design software as E-Plan or similar\tAdvanced English\tPLC/HMI/SCADA exposure\tKnowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NEC standards preferred\tCommunication Networking knowledge preferred.
