Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Project Controller to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reportsMonitor project costs, schedules, and performance metrics to identify variances and potential risksAnalyze project data to provide insights and recommendations for improving project efficiency and profitabilityCollaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial planning and reportingImplement and maintain project control systems and processesPrepare and present financial reports and updates to senior management and stakeholdersIdentify and mitigate financial risks associated with projectsConduct variance analysis and develop corrective action plans when necessaryAssist in the development of project proposals and cost estimates for new business opportunitiesEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field7+ years of experience in project controlling or related fieldAdvanced proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) and ExcelStrong financial analysis and reporting skillsDemonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and risk managementExcellent communication and presentation skillsProven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExperience with large-scale, complex projectsKnowledge of project management methodologies and financial principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in workProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsExcellent time management and organizational skillsAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
